What we collect when you browse lumitiv.com
Effectively nothing. We don’t require you to sign up to read our pages. We don’t track you across the web. We don’t build profiles, sell data, or share your information with advertisers. You can read about our backup solutions, compare deployment options, and learn how our immutable storage works without handing over a single personal detail.

The one exception is Google Analytics, described below.

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how our site is used — which pages are helpful, where visitors get stuck, and what we should improve. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects aggregated, anonymized information about your visit, including:

• Pages you view and how long you spend on them
• Approximate location (country or region, not precise address)
• Browser, device type, and operating system
• How you arrived at our site (search engine, direct link, referral)

We’ve configured Google Analytics to anonymize IP addresses, and we don’t use this information to identify you personally. Google is a third party with its own data practices — you can review them at policies.google.com/privacy. If you’d prefer to opt out entirely, Google offers a browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or you can block cookies in your browser settings.

Cookies
The only cookies on our website are the ones Google Analytics uses, as described above. We don’t use cookies for advertising, retargeting, or any other purpose.

When you get in touch with us
If you fill out a contact form, request a quote, or email us directly, we collect only what you provide — typically your name, email address, company, and whatever you include in your message. We use that information to respond to you and, if you become a customer, to deliver our services. We don’t share it with third parties outside of what’s required to run our business, and we don’t use it to market anything you didn’t ask about.

Customer data
This policy covers visitors to our website. The data we protect on behalf of our customers — the backups themselves — is governed by our service agreements and security documentation, which includes the immutable offsite storage that cannot be deleted by anyone, including us.

Your rights
You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, request that we correct it, or ask us to delete it. Reach out using the contact details below and we’ll take care of it promptly.

Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle privacy, we’ll update this page and revise the date below. Material changes will be communicated to existing customers directly.
